Turkish Kilim gallery from the city of AYDIN, of old manufacture, with a characteristic: subdued colors on the right side and bright colors on the reverse.
This happens to almost all carpets of old or ancient manufacture, especially to nomadic ones. On the right side the colors are more faded because they are dulled by the scorching sun of the plateau, while on the reverse side you can still see the original colors of the wool. But no modern carpet has this charm anyway. This runner has a small lateral restoration, not easily visible.
Measurements: cm. 275 x 62. Very suitable as a bed runner.
