The top, from the early eighteenth century, is veneered with precious and rare African marble on a base of peperino stone. The underlying structure consists of four legs in carved and gilded wood with plant-motif decorations in the Louis XIV style. The legs are connected by richly carved crosspieces that converge in the center, where there is a vase adorned with a floral still life. The very decorative table is easily placed in any environment, such as a living room, a study, or an entrance hall, perfect in the center of the room, next to two sofas, or close to a wall. The marble top is very durable and allows for daily use of the table. In good condition, there are some small missing pieces in the veneered part of the top.
