This corner cabinet is structured to be placed near a corner and therefore has a triangular cross-sectional shape. It was made in the 19th century in France in the Louis XVI style. Made of wood, the front is lacquered in black and decorated with polychrome lacquer paintings of oriental inspiration, in the Chinoiserie style. It consists of two doors that conceal a red lacquered interior divided into two compartments by a shelf. The side uprights, legs and lower band, which follow a dynamic and curved pattern, are embellished with finely chiseled gilded bronze appliques depicting male heads, floral and vegetal elements. The upper top is made of marble. The corner cabinet has a style that adapts well both next to eighteenth-century furnishings and modern taste. Its size and pleasant compositional balance, enhanced by the type of decoration, make the furniture easily integrated into any context. It can in fact be suitable for living rooms and studies, entrances, bedrooms and bathrooms.
