Chest of drawers with two drawers, stamped A.L Gilbert on the frame of one side; front and sides inlaid with architectural capriccios enclosed within gilt bronze borders, curved legs. Entirely decorated with gilt bronze elements in neoclassical style. Veneered in rosewood; among the woods used are palm, maple, green-tinted maple, and boxwood. Interiors in oak. Top in yellow breccia marble.
