The coffee table, from the Neoclassical period, was made in Sicily between the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It has a molded mahogany wood structure with four curved legs and goat feet. A light crosspiece joins the four legs, lending elegance and stability to the whole. The top, oval in shape, is in a marble called flowered alabaster. The fine mahogany wood has a dark finish that gives refinement and grace and is aimed at simulating another precious wood, such as ebony.
This piece of furniture has a rather rare compositional line and is suitable for use as a center table, placed between two sofas or armchairs or near a wall in any room of your home, a living room, an entrance or a study.
