Giuseppe Siccardi (Bergamo 1883 - 1956)
Dimensions: height 45 cm
Son-in-law of Ponziano Loverini, he was his student at the Carrara Academy in Bergamo and later studied at the Free School of the World in Rome.
He was a sculptor and draughtsman. He exhibited at the first and second Exhibitions of the Trade Unions in Milan, at the International Exhibition of Sacred Art in Milan in 1921 and at the Permanente in 1931.
He was mainly inspired by the poetry of motherhood, with evocative 'blood-red' and black-and-white works.
