Son-in-law of Loverini Ponziano, he was his student at the Carrara Academy in Bergamo and later studied at the Scuola Libera del Mondo in Rome.
He was a sculptor and draftsman. He exhibited at the first and second Trade Union Exhibitions in Milan, at the International Exhibition of Sacred Art in Milan in 1921, and at the Permanente in 1931.
His main inspiration was the poetry of motherhood, with evocative "sanguigne" and black and white works.
