Description:
Antique English postal scale made of brass in the late 1800s. Finished with floral decorations on the base: in the front part, three recesses for inserting the weights: the round plate measures cm. Ø4, the rectangular one, where we find the following inscription engraved "Postal rates for letters not exceeding 4 oz ld", measures cm.7x6. On the balance arm, a further inscription: Warranted Accurate. It is in excellent condition.
