Italian kneeler of the seventeenth century,
walnut plated with light wood inlays.
The triangular base has curved sides with ebonized frames,
in the center an inlay with scrolls, then re-proposed on the upper floor.
The drawer is supported by the shaft in turned black wood,
the lock was replaced with a working one.
Same turning and wood also on the three feet
on which the prie-dieu rests.
Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish
