Important flap desk from the first half of the 18th century, attributable to the workshop of the cabinetmaker Giuseppe Preti (1692-1770). The entire furniture veneered in "Marquetry" features an important inlay on the top with plant and naturalistic decorations typical of the Rolo cabinetmaker. Inside the fall-front, we find two rows of drawers with a broken line, veneered in burr wood and threaded in maple wood. Secrets on the internal top, typical of the period, embellish the furniture. Excellent state of preservation.
