DYF Marcel, pseudonym of Dreyfus Marcel (1899-1985), was a painter of genre scenes, figures, portraits, still lifes, and flowers.
In 1922, he opened a studio in Arles where he perfected his painting art. He also dedicated himself to painting frescoes in town halls and museums.
In 1935, he returned to Paris, but due to the war, he returned to the south of France. He exhibited his works at the "Salon d'Automne", the "Salon des Tuileries", and the "Salon des Artistes Français" in Paris, animals and still lifes.
Impressionist painter, in fact, he uses colors with vibrancy and luminosity and a strong brushstroke. The painting and frame are restored.
