Victor Vasarely (Pécs, April 9, 1906 - Paris, March 15, 1997) was a Hungarian painter and graphic artist naturalized French.
He was the founder of the artistic movement of Op art, developed in the 60s and 70s and, along with Bridget Riley, the main exponent.
