Antique large KARABAGH or GAREBAGH - n. 787 -

Antique GAREBAGH rug, one of the most beautiful (for me) among Caucasian rugs. This one is particularly pleasing because the field is covered with roses that seem scattered on the shaded background that goes from pink to red and is enclosed (like a flowerbed) by a thin frame. This frame is in turn a garland of pink flowers: very pleasant. It measures cm. 320 x 164. A particular size that requires some experience in setting it: I am naturally available for advice.
