Antique cylinder desk in feather and bois de rose with pull-out writing desk

Splendid cylinder desk with pull-out writing desk, made in Italy in the mid-1800s. Mahogany sides (photo n°6), feather front: finished around the perimeter of the roll, uprights, drawer and doors with inlaid bois de rose threading. The upper shelf measures cm.89x30, going down we find the cylinder which, rotating inwards, reveals a stationery area with 4 drawers, 4 document compartments with a compartment with a small door in the center (photo n°4). Extractable mahogany writing desk with curly side rails (photo n°5): the usable work surface measures cm.80x43 and, once extracted, protrudes a further cm.29 compared to the furniture (comfortable for leg placement). Under the cylinder is a drawer (h. cm.10) with solid mahogany interior and sides and two particular concave shaped doors cm.41 high (photo n°9). All supported by inverted truncated pyramid feet cm.13 high. Good state of conservation: the price includes complete restoration.
