Description:
Oil on canvas. Neapolitan school of the 17th-18th century. The large composition is rich in numerous different elements: at the center stands a large floral arrangement, of multiple varieties in bright colors; to the left of the flowers, resting on a doric capital, a brightly colored parakeet rests, contrasting with the muted colors of the dead quails lying on the plane below, along with some pumpkins and a pewter vase. The painting, restored and relined, is presented in a period-style frame. It comes from an important collection (on the back is mentioned Commendatore Arturo Stucchi, an entrepreneur from Como).
