Jacob de Wit (Amsterdam, 19 December 1695 - Amsterdam, 12 November 1754) was an artist and interior decorator who became famous for his paintings of religious scenes, paintings of allegories placed on over-doors, a series of paintings of the four seasons depicting putti painted in a three-dimensional monochromatic style, and decorations of ceilings in country villas outside Amsterdam.
