Giannino Castiglioni (Milan, May 4, 1884 – Lierna, August 27, 1971) was an Italian sculptor, painter and medalist, but also a discreet architect, designing spaces and buildings in recent years. Many famous works by Castiglioni remain, including designs for monuments, fountains, tombs and approximately 700 sculptures; he took part in numerous exhibitions, both abroad and nationally.
In Lierna, a town where he spent a large part of his life, the Giannino Castiglioni museum was inaugurated in 2015 and in the same town we also find the lakefront dedicated to him.
