Exceptional alder wood sculpture (a type of birch) from the height of the 17th century. The work represents God the Father holding the world he created (Deus Pantocrator). Below him, child angels (putti) and at the centre the Dove of Peace reminding us of the Holy Spirit form a crown. The triangular shape of the sculpture symbolically echoes the Holy Trinity.
The ensemble of characters creates a strong artistic unicum of extraordinary visual impact, reinforced by the plastic "one-piece" effect that characterizes the sculpture.
