Description:
Delightful cornucopia-shaped vase (a symbol of prosperity and abundance) with two cherubs at the base, made in Germany at the end of the 19th century: one cherub supports it, the other adorns it with a ribbon. Decorated in blue with floral elements on the front, it is marked under the glaze Sitzendorf (photo no. 10), a mark used from the late 19th century exactly until 1910. The base measures cm.15x13, the upper part, with a blue-trimmed edge with a small scallop, measures cm.12x11: the maximum height is cm.16. The antique German vase is in perfect condition.
