CACCIAPUOTI GUIDO, Eagle, large hand-decorated ceramic sculpture from the 1930s

Sculpture signed by Guido Cacciapuoti (1892 - 1953) depicting an eagle, a refined work made of glazed and hand-decorated polychrome ceramic resting on a large white and jagged base simulating rock, manufactured in the 1930s. The artist's signature "G.Cacciapuoti" is engraved in italics on the surface of the base (clearly visible in one of the photographs) along with the words "Made in Italy". Underneath the base is the original paper label of the manufacturer. Dimensions: Height 48 cm Length 44 cm Depth 24cm A rare collector's sculpture.
