Humbert-Vignol Léonie (1879-1960) was born in Lyon (Rhone).
She was a student of Alexandre Bonnardel and Édouard Toudouze at the "Beaux-Arts" school in Lyon.
She exhibited at the "Salon des Artistes de Lyon" from 1896 and received her first medal in 1901. In 1908 she will receive first prize.
She also exhibited in Paris at the "Salon des Artistes Français" from 1905 where she received honors and many other medals.
One of her works is kept in the museum of Digne in France. The painting and frame have been restored.
