Oil on canvas painting from the early twentieth century that naturally renders the sunlight, behind the clouds, as it illuminates a typically Flemish countryside landscape after the end of a storm. The rain has left the air still rich in droplets that emphasize the contours of the houses and the bridge, in the foreground, while the post-storm atmosphere plays on the tones of yellow - ochre that characterize the autumn scene.
