Important neoclassical palace console in gilded wood with pure gold leaf and exquisitely carved with floral, foliaceous, and spiral motifs, typical of the period.
The fluted legs are richly decorated with various orders of refined carving with acanthus leaves, ending upwards with a sort of stylized capital with almost quilted-effect engravings.
The central frieze was applied later.
The top is in peperino marble, typical of Lazio, and is covered in Giallo Siena marble.
There are some restorations towards the back of the marble top.
Rome, last quarter of the 18th century.
