Turkish fabric-carpet entirely hand-embroidered by Turkish girls for their wedding trousseau, according to an ancient tradition.
It can be used on the wall or on a table or on a sofa: it is completely made of hand-spun wool and dyed with vegetable substances.
It measures cm. 230 x 161 and dates back to around 1950. It could also be older and have been passed on to the daughter by her own mother.
