Piedmontese fall-front desk, supported by bracket feet. The serpentine front features three drawers, topped by a hinged fall-front concealing a writing desk with drawers and a central compartment. Veneered in bois de violette, with boxwood and bois de rose stringing, the interiors are in poplar, and the writing desk is in walnut.
