Pair of large theatre paintings from a convent in Florence.
Oil on canvas, without frame, they were fixed directly to the wall.
They depict colonnades with niches in the centre housing female and male sculptures.
Underneath the colonnade is a low wall decorated with a rhombus in the centre of which is a Liberty frieze (grisaille type).
Condition visible in photos.
Measurements: height cm. 275/280 - width cm. 270/275 - each vertical painted strip is cm. 100 wide.
