Rare and elegant Roman chest of drawers with beautiful and contained dimensions, veneered in cypress and inlaid in rosewood, it is characterized by four pilasters in the form of a slender inverted pyramid that contribute to structuring the architectural module of the furniture, giving it elegance and lightness.
The front part has a slight but characteristic recess, as well as the sides are not exactly straight, but slightly oblique. Factors that, on the whole, affect the beauty and peculiarity of the furniture.
The shaped and beak-shaped top has inlaid frames probably in rosewood, then reproduced on the sides.
Evocative apotropaic masks surmount the pilasters, probably later (?)
The dimensions of the furniture are approximately 150 x 68 x 98 H.
