Antique pair of Napoleon III 4-flame candelabras with a snuffer for each candelabra (photos #9 and 10), made in France in the second half of the 19th century: square base in onyx (cm.9x9; h.2) with a sphinx in the center and a laurel wreath with a bow (photo #3), supported by 4 theriocephalic feet adhering to the corners by means of leafy decorations and small flowers (photo #3). From the inverted truncated pyramidal trunk, also made of onyx (h.19), comes a candelabra composed of 4 arms (photo #6; three around and one central) with two helmets at the base. The maximum size of the candelabras from arm to arm is cm.17, at the base (at the theriocephalic feet) cm.14x14. Maximum overall dimensions: cm.17x17; h.43: Good condition.
