The Art Deco painting With Flowers, a bouquet of red and white Dahlias,
presented here is an oil painting on canvas from the twentieth century, circa 1930.
It should be noted that the gilded frame is original and contemporary. The work is signed lower left Capon.
Capon Georges Louis Emile (1890-1980) French painter who lived and exhibited regularly in Paris.
Painter of nude paintings, landscape paintings, still life paintings and portrait paintings.
He exhibited at the "Salons des Artistes Indépendants et d'Automme" and in 1920 became a member of these events.
He spent many years in Spain from 1927 to 1929 where he painted a lot.
Many works by this artist are exhibited in various museums.
The frame is contemporary to the painting, datable between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
