(QF207)
The Still Life represents a Bouquet of Roses picked and ready to be placed in a vase.
This is an oil painting made in the early twentieth century. Oil flower paintings made on hardboard.
Hardboard and Faesite are two materials used in the first half of the twentieth century by painters as a support for their paintings.
They were used because they were less expensive than canvas and had greater resistance preventing deformation.
The painting is signed lower right Noel Canepa (XIX-XX), French painter.
