Elegant pair of Lombardy cabinets, 18th century

Elegant pair of small cabinets; one with three drawers, the other with an opening door and a liftable top. The two pieces of furniture feature a neoclassical motif decoration; the front and sides are centered by inlaid medallions with animal and plant motifs. Frame in walnut wood, a characteristic element of the Lombardy area. The cabinets are entirely inlaid and threaded in rosewood, olive, walnut, maple, bois de rose, and boxwood.
