Exceptional triptych in embossed copper and enamels

Exceptional triptych in embossed copper and embellished with a very rich decoration of enamels in the colors of emerald green and cobalt blue. The central scene sees the standing figures of the Virgin of the Annunciation and of the Archangel Gabriel, with the overlying cymatium depicting God the Father. The side steps, which can be closed like a book by hinges, depict two Saints on the open front and two Archangels with a closed triptych. It is a work of incredible perfection and extreme elegance. The refinement of the decorations with great use of enamels stands out for the delicate balance.
