Focardi Giovanni (Florence 1848-1903) - Lady walking Terracotta sculpture depicting a lady walking. Dimensions: height 28cm Brother of the painter Ruggero Focardi, he studied in Florence under the guidance of Enrico Pozzi and adhered to the realist demands divulged by Adriano Cecioni. In 1875 he moved to London where he exhibited until 1888. Author of genre statuettes and portraits, he exhibited in 1878 in Paris. The bronze "Sweet Rest" from 1887 is kept in the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome.
