This splendid chest of drawers, made entirely of walnut, originates from Tuscany in the mid-17th century. The elegance of the piece is expressed through a fine Guilloché decoration on the ebony wood frames of the drawers, which reflects the overall style of this chest with explicit Nordic influences and characterizes the two-tone wood finish. A similar frame adorns the pilasters with a fascinating twisted element that narrows down. The sides are regular, and the top is a single board. The piece is in excellent condition.
