Constrained for a long time within the walls of a factory, his passion for painting first led him to become a student of Giuseppe Trainini and then of Arturo Verni; he then quit his job to devote himself entirely to colors. A landscape painter, he favors the bright lights of countryside under limpid skies and furrowed by orchards reflecting rows of solidly recomposed trees; mountain rustics, in the wake of traditional vedutismo. He has participated in company exhibitions, provincial competitions, and has also set up repeated solo exhibitions in Brescia, Verona, and Montichiari (1970).
