Exceptional Persian (or Iranian) ISFAHAN rug with pure silk warp, allowing for a dense knotting in extra wool called Cork, collected from the softest fleece of the sheep, dyed in an incredible luminous light blue. An example of old manufacture dating back to the era of Shah Pahlavi (1960/70) never used, coming from a private collection. The designs refer to the ancient patterns designed by the best masters "ustad" of the royal workshops.
