Extraordinary Venetian chest of drawers, 18th century.

Extraordinary three-drawer chest of drawers characterized by the shape of the structure, which is curved on the front and sides. Olive root veneer, curved supports with lateral carvings terminating in scroll motifs at both ends. Lower cornice made using end grain wood and featuring a triple groove motif. Shaped top delimited inferiorly by a band. Excellent example of Venetian cabinetmaking that fully expresses the concept of rococo. Venice, 18th century, second quarter cm 111 x 140 x 67
