We recommend looking at the images in detail to grasp all the details of the refinement of these two pieces of furniture. The front panels in fact feature refined carving work in walnut wood with rich decoration. The precious walnut wood is expertly carved, note the presence of zoomorphic fantasy figures typical of a Gothic Renaissance taste. Precisely towards the end of the 19th century there was in fact a revival of Gothic Renaissance tastes which gave rise to a production in the arts that was perfectly inspired by such periods. These sideboards are the perfect example with their grandeur and their wealth of decorative elements. The commission of these sideboards was certainly of a high level, note in fact that even for the construction woods such as the back the precious walnut wood was used. The two sideboards are used, they show some signs of wear at the level of the finish and in some parts the presence of wormholes.
