Large oil painting on canvas, presumably depicting: Eugene Maurice of Savoy (1656-1673), passionate about oenology, he planted a vineyard behind the Gran Madre hill (in Turin). He was a cardinal, but he married Luisa Cristina di Savoia, leaving the cassock, for whom he had the Villa della Regina built. The painting, from the second half of the 17th century, has been relined, the frame is contemporary. Peter Lely workshop (1618-1680) Flemish painter, particularly active in England.
