"Hammered" working technique
It consists of smoothing the surface by "hammering" it on a cold grinding wheel, obtaining a series of "marks" of various shapes, giving the object the appearance of having been hammered like iron. The hammered finish is carried out cold in a grinding shop by great glass engraving artists.
