BOX, BOITE, PERFUME BOX STAMPED BY EBONY CABINET MAKER TAHAN - 19TH CENTURY
Description:
Precious perfume box of rectangular shape veneered in rosewood with a herringbone pattern, canted on the corners and edged in brass. A small jewel of French cabinet making.
Inside it contained three glass bottles (one is lost), lined in period satin.
Marked "TAHAN Ft - r. de la Paix".
