OBJECT: Pair of Charles X consoles MATERIALS: Solid walnut DIMENSIONS: CM 113-56.5-78 H - EXTENDED: CM 167-113-78 H CONDITION: EXCELLENT, restored a few years ago DESCRIPTION: Rare pair of Emilian-Modenese consoles from the Charles X period 1840-'50, all in finely handcrafted solid walnut. The two consoles join together with two separate crossbars on which an extension is placed (the one present is not the original), to form a comfortable table for up to 8 people. Restored a few years ago, still in excellent condition, with some inevitable slight signs of age.
