Large oil painting on canvas, depicting: "Mountain landscape with shepherdesses" signed Gachet Mario (Turin 1879-1981 Castiglione Torinese). Student of V. Cavalleri, he was mainly a landscape painter. He debuted in Turin in 1897 with Prime foglie and in 1898 he presented Sotto i noci at the National Exhibition. He also painted portraits, still lifes and genre scenes which he exhibited at the annual exhibitions of the Turin Promotrice and the Circolo degli Artisti (1902, Diavoletti e Malizio-setta; 1908, Mucca al Pascolo). He was present at exhibitions in Milan (1906, Verso sera), Intra, Genoa, and London.
