Beautiful painting, probable sketch for a fresco, depicting "Flora." The painting is presented within a splendid Salvator Rosa frame, with four orders, from the early 18th century. On the back of the frame there is an antique inscription "Sketch for a Flora work by Pittoni." The painting is undoubtedly attributable to Marco Liberi (Venice circa 1644-post 1691) son of Pietro Liberi, a painter who influenced many Venetian painters of the time.
