Fanciful "sculpture - vase" depicting a mythological dolphin made of milk glass, turquoise and gold.
"Milk glass" is a white glass similar to porcelain. It is obtained by opacifying the glass with tin oxide.
In ancient Greece, the dolphin appears in various contexts related to gods and mythology, it is a symbol of the waters, it is the savior of the shipwrecked, in fact already in ancient legends, they see it as a friend of man. For the Cretans, dolphins were gods and were worshiped as such.
