Small table in light walnut. The furniture consists of four turned legs, joined at the bottom by a turned crosspiece, a drawer in the band under the top, equipped with a lock divided into compartments and a "basket" drawer under the band. Projecting top with central reserve. The small table, of small dimensions, in its simplicity highlights the beautiful amber color of the light walnut.
This type of furniture solved the need for ladies to store everything needed for embroidery, a very popular pastime at the time, which was performed during the hours dedicated to conversation in the living rooms. The need was therefore to have a work furniture but with a beautiful appearance and that would fit well in the representative environment.
