Gilded frame (small mirror) with gold leaf - Louis Philippe

Small gilded gold leaf wooden frame, with original mercury mirror. Fine carved and sculpted wood work, openwork crest and engraved with the client's initials, laterally it is embellished with flowering racemes (both damaged and glued, see detailed photos). The frame was built starting from a whole wooden board and then sculpted in its entirety, on the back you do not notice the classic interlocking angular joints, a sign of great skill and mastery of the framer of the time.
