Set of 6 mid-18th century solid walnut chairs from the Modena area, elegantly finished and with embossed brass decorations around the seat. The metope features a refined fretwork design carved from a single panel, the tapering at the top of the legs are elegantly designed, and the backrest, curved in both width and depth, creates a comfortable and enveloping seat. The embossed brass decorations are original and all authentic. Except for the fabric, there are no restorations.
