RARE HIGH PERIOD REFECTORY TABLE-DESK FROM THE SECOND HALF OF THE 16TH CENTURY (RESERVED)
Description:
Interesting and rare "refectory" table for use as a desk, made of solid walnut and with its original patina. The sense of solidity, typical of these high period pieces of furniture, is accentuated here by the unusual thickness of the structure (from 3.5 to 4 cm.).
The lyre-shaped legs are elegant and blend well with the apron housing the drawers.
The carving on the front frame and on the drawers is particularly noteworthy, making the whole ensemble harmonious.
