Central Germany XVI century, sculptor of the immediate circle or perhaps a workshop of Hans Leinberger 1475/1480; † 1531 or shortly afterwards). Important late Gothic sculpture made of lime wood, depicting a Pia Donna (Mary Magdalene), brings in the ointment jar. The struggling work of the 16th century is attributable to the immediate circle or to the next school of the great German late Gothic sculptor. The work is in good conservation conditions and has not undergone any restoration or integration; small visible facial and left hand faults. Remains of polychrome. Dating back to the 16th century was also confirmed by means of examinations"
